Perception of our value

Now i myself was astounded by this while flipping through the pages of Paul Mckenna's book today. Here's story to begin with.
"In the early 1970s, a record label in Britain was selling albums containing cover versions of comtemporary songs. Although the records sold for less than $2 a copy, hardly anyone bought them and the record company was suffering.
A whiz kid joined the board and announce he wanted to more than double the price of the records. The other executives were shocked but eventually agreed to his plan. Within a few weeks, the records were flying off the shelves. When the records didnt cost much, people didnt value them. the record company was saved by redefining people's perception of the value of their product."

An extract from Paul Mckenna's "Change your life in seven days"
Now here is something shocking i have learnt.
THE WORLD SEES U JUST AS THE WAY U SEE YOU ARE.
People responds to that. Ur behaviour, body language and the way ur thoughts flow exhibits that very clearly to people. Just as the way u see yourself unconsciously, people will also unconsciously treat you the same way. Trust me, i have experimented it and proven to be true. Now here is another of my favourite quote

"We are born princes, and the civilzing process makes us into frogs."
-Eric Berne
We are made for success. God firmly say it in the Bible in Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said," Let's us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over the creatures that moves along the ground."

So God created man in his own image,
In the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them

God bless them and said to them, " Be fruitful and increase in numbersl; feel the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground"
Genesis 1:26-28(NIV)
When God created mankind we made for dominance, leadership and power. We are made to be special. Male or Female alike.
However, like what Eric Berne said,
"civilizing process makes us into frogs"
Why so exactly??
Here's the truth. Every baby born is like a new CPU with an empty storage memory. Everything we do now is taught and practice along the way. Like learning to walk, speak, feel emotions. Its true.
I remember clearly there was a kid brought up by wolfs, this man apparently ended up behaving and thinking he is one when he was found.
So how does Eric Berne's quote relate to this?
Our self image is build up the same way as well. We end up believing and applying what people comment about us and unconsciously allowed it to become part of our self image.( Like for example, ur parent constantly remind you that you are stupid and u end up believing you are)

NOW STOP!!!!!
Its time to rebuke that nonsensical part of you that hinders your life!
Ok. here's a problem. I can't share openly what is in the book due to copyright laws.
But, all i can say it.
CHANGE THE VALUE YOU SEE YOURSELF AS, IF YOU EVER WANT TO CHANGE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

Don't ask what the world needs-ask what makes you come alive and then go and do that.Because what the world need is people who have come alive.
Howard Martin
Dreams.
Think it, feel it, live it.
Its the things and activities we love to do the most that makes us come alive.
Its passion that drives us happy, like let say, feeling the heart stopping excitment we get from a roller coaster ride.
Close your eyes and try to flashback to the time where you had a clear vivid impression of an event or situation where u felt this way. Make the sounds louder and the picture more brighter in your mind and and feel the same feeling you felt that time.
Feels wonderful isn't it?
Ironically, many of us are not doing the things we like to do. Either by pressure, circumstances, we demean the importance of realising the passion inside us.
Thinking back, i always been, doing the same things as, many would have done.
That is.. overlooking the importance of passion needs.
Well, when i was in the previous relationship i was too involved in my mind. So involved that, i forgot my own needs.
Now that i'm single again, my mind is free from those unproductive thoughts and i can freely invest my mind and time into doing the things that i love most.
Like today, i went swimming and i felt, really really great.
More to come, next week i am really aiming to do all those i would love to do most, some which, no one would ever thought i would do. Nor do i either. Its is just something i realise i enjoy doing.
Live life once, live it at best. Don't let those negativity shackle you down.

Mastering our emotion state

"We don't see things as they are, but rather as we are"
Anais Nin
This is an extremely helpful lesson i learnt today from Paul Mackenna's book.
Ever been on a same situation with a person but realise that both of you feel different about it?
Its like what i often quote.
"Our view of the world is as unique as our fingerprint"
A image, experience or situation depicts our emotions as we decide whether it is going to be positive or negative.
And from our emotions, it depicts our behaviour and response to the situation.
Very often, everything in the world is neutral. Its the questions we use to ask and the thoughts we allow to flow through that will decide the outcome of our emotions, thus our behaviour and response.
Ever had a thought of maybe say, an impression of a person u have negative feelings about, and as time goes, your impression of him change and, the past image you have of that person no longer trigger the emotion you used to have in the past?
We can program ourselves to think differently of everything and thus control our emotions and response. And i'm trying to apply it in my life, will share more once i learnt how to.:)

Positive Perspective

Lets begin with a interview extract.
It was Thomas Edison's seven hundredth unsucessful attempt to invent the electric light. He was asked by a NEW YORK TIMES reporter," How does it feel to failed seven hundred times?"
He replied" I have not failed seven hundred times. I have not failed one. I have succeded in proving that those seven hundred ways will not work. When i have eliminated all the ways that will not work, i will find the way that will work." Soon after, thousands of "failure" followed, but he finally found his way and illuminated the world.
See the Difference?
People probably think this man is crazy at that time, but look, its people with the positive appoarch who are at the top of the world. Edison is wired himself to seek the benefit of what seemed like a failure. See the motivation instead?
Gosh, i'm so excited.
Positive Perspect. Wire it into your life and begin see a big + in your life.
Begin by asking questions to direct your focus.
Instead of asking yourself things like,
-Why can't i do it?
-Why do all this always happen to me?
-Why am i always so unattractive?
Always, before creating a question for the situation, ask yourself this new question first
-How can i ask this in a way that points toward the positive?
Ask yourself these instead
-How can i do it different so that i can be successful at( whatever you are doing)
-How can i change my circumstances for the better?
-How can i improve myself so i can be attractive?
This is what i had been working on today..:)

Psychology issues

Its been more than 5 days since i went in depth into studying and understanding Paul Mckenna's marvellous production, and i'm rather impressed with the results.
Yes, im dealing with myself. Now, at home, i spend most of my time reading and acting upon reconstructing my mind. With much discussion on the topic about my personal problems and how to go about dealing it, i discovered something rather, disturbing. That is " Everyone suffer from psycholgy issues". Its a matter of, its extend.
To all those who know me, you would realise i tend to act and behave differently sometimes. you will know what i mean. Those die hard trying to show off, or maybe, those instances of attention seeking via creating drama. Yes, deeply rooted issues, all voice down to the number one killer of human's productivity, low self esteem.
Day by day as i slowly free myself from this, i feel so much so much better! No longer do i feel empty, as i would not need to go around seeking to fill this emptiness.
Low self esteem, is a psychology issue. And so are many others.
Things like, resentment, unforgivness, bitterness, hatred, being judgemental and critical, are all the symptoms of this underlying psychology issues.
Now i understand why in the past i find it so hard to forgive but now, its a piece of cake.
You must be thinking, what so good about forgiving??
Well, does it feel good hating someone?
If not, why do so??

Paul Mckenna

Oh yes, this man impresses me. In his book, Change Your Life in 7 Days, he replicated the previous confident"me", or if not, better. And yes, I'm free from those dreadful unproductive thoughts and charged up and ready with optimism.

What is this book? I call it a reprogramming software. Its deals straight to the deepest part of my mind and alter it, so i react and behave differently.
As it explains, there are reasons why people behave and think. Its is all computed in our brain, and our emotions are the association with what it is written. And the thoughts in our brain are associated with images, smell, sounds and impression. Like when we arrive at certain scene we are reminded of certain events, if not we create this memory from that point of time. These "impression" created are non eraseable but can be manipulated till they have little or no effect.
The result is overtaking the negative with the positive. Impressive isn't? Its is so amazing that i could spend hours mediating on its words. And never have i gotten bored or tired of it.
Outcome of my effort? A significant increase in my self-esteem in which, i realise there is no need to try to impress and attract attention to make myself feel filled as i am already filled just by the fact that im living in this world.
And yes, i can't live days now without feeling great about myself coz it will be virtually impossible. People may find it weird as to why i'm smiling happily everyday, but it doesnt matters. Living life to the fullest is most important for me now, and everything that is given to me is worth enjoying.
You see, this feeling is so great that now, no matter what im doing, im feeling great and optimistic about it and yes, im making the best of everything!
YES, i may have gotten a accident that still left me in debt. YES, i may have a bitter breakup before, YES, i may not be the richest man around. BUT WHO CARES??? Those are the past, and i cant help but to be excited about the future that awaits me in the future!!!

This man, Paul Mckenna, astounds me. This leading Hypnotist completely thrashed my life into a completely different one.
He lists the most "simple" yet most effective way to relate emotions, behaviour and beliefs.
As he always said, my minds are like computers that requires reprogramming. And yes, i'm undergoing reprogramming.
Will share more after i've sucessfully comprehend his appoarch of healthy and positive living. :)
